Have you ever wanted to travel around the main sights in Holland but never known how to organise it? Are you eager to get to know Amsterdam, the typical countryside villages, the sweeping tulip-filled fields and the laid-back Dutch people? We offer you a comprehensive, comfortable and complete tour through Holland with an English-speaking guide, visiting the most important sights in this picturesque country.

Destinations included in the Tour: Amsterdam - Den Haag - Keukenhof/Madurodam - Leiden - Giethoorn - Afsluitdijk - Noord Holland - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Zandvoort

Day 1: Once we have all met in the airport we will make out way to the centre of Amsterdam where we will check into our hotel and maps of the city will be handed to all guests. If all guests have arrived before 18.00 we will all dine in a typical Amsterdam restaurant offering local cuisine.

Day 2: Today we will visit the most emblematic sights and sounds of Amsterdam, taking in the Van Gogh Museum before lunch and then visiting the Plaza Dam where you will be able to appreciate the stunning Paleis op de Dam Palace. Afterwards we embark on a time-old activity in the Dutch capital as we travel along the canals of Amsterdam by boat, taking in the sights from the water. The rest of the afternoon you will have to explore the city, allowing you to visit the Flower Market and the famous canals of Heerengracht, Leidsegracht and Keizersgracht.

Day 3: Today we take to the famous bikes of Amsterdam, with a cycle route through the city's famous De Wallen neighbourhood with its Red Light District. We will lunch in Chinatown before catching the bus to Den Haag. Once we have settled into the hotel you will have the afternoon free to explore the centre of the city that is home to the Dutch Government.

Day 4: During the morning we will visit the 'Het Binnenhof' where you will view the chambers where the Dutch government reside. After lunch we travel to 'Keukenhof' which is the most famous garden in Holland. Having walked through fields offering tulips and many more flowers of all shapes and colours. During the winter months this garden is closed, so instead we visit the 'Madurodam'; a miniature version of Holland.

Day 5: In the morning we travel by bus to Leiden, seeing the historic centre of the city that gave us Rembrandt. After visiting the Hortus Botanicus Botanical Garden, we will view the Stedelijk de Lakenhal Museum. In the afternoon we travel to Geithoorn where we will embark on a boat trip through the canals of this quaint countryside village. We will be staying in a lovely hotel in the outskirts of Geithoorn.

Day 6: Travelling towards the green plains of the north of Holland, we pass by the most famous dam in the country, named the 'Afsluitdijk'. 32 kilometres in length, the dam stretches from Friesland to Noord Holland and protects the country from rises in sea level. On the other side of the dam we reach the province of Noord Holland where we visit a traditional cheese factory where you will be able to sample the finest cheeses in the country. Next we pass through Zaanse Schans, a picturesque area of the province that houses many of the emblematic windmills and dutch cottages you see on many a postcard from Holland! We end the day in Volendam, another beautiful countryside village which provides the perfect ending point to our tour of the country.

Day 7: Depending on the departure times of your flights back, we might have time to visit the seaside town of Zandvoort, a favourite for Dutch holidaymakers who flock to the resort every summer.
