Ever wanted to explore this rugged Scandinavian country with it's world famous fjords? If so we recommend our tailored tour across Norway! Our tour takes you across the fjords and plains of Norway, by boat and bus, visiting main southern cities such as Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo, as well as smaller villages such as Voss. You will also get to visit tourist hotspots like Prekestolen, Frogner National Park, Viking Churches and the glaciers of Nigards and Briksdal.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Meeting in departure airport (Madrid or Barcelona) two hours before the flight departs. Reception in Bergen Airport and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day you have free to explore Bergen.

Day 2: After the buffet breakfast in the hotel, there will be a guided tour of Bergen, passing by the port of Bryggen where you will be able to observe the fisherman at the ancient city of Hanseatica, full of history and enchanting architecture. We will then take the mountain train up to the top of Floyfjellet to admire the spectacular views of the fjords. After lunch you have the rest of the day free to discover the surroundign area, full of outstanding natural beauty. Dinner included.

Day 3: After enjoying breakfast in the hotel we set off for Stavanger by ferry, passing by the scenic Lyse Fjord (07.30 - 12.00 0r 10.10 - 14.45). We the continue our journey onto one of Norways biggest draws: Prekestolen, otherwise known as the Peachers Pulpit and which is is a massive cliff, 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau, in Forsand. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for the hike up to Prekestolen. Having taken in the breathtaking views of the fjords below, we return back to Stavanger. With the rest of the day free to explore the city, we recommend visiting the Cathedral, City Museum and Breidablikk House. Giving that Stavanger is predominantly a city that lives off petrol, a visit to the Petrol Museum also comes highly recommended. Dinner included.

Day 4: Passing through the interior section of southern Norway we set off for the capital Oslo, passing through Rogaland and Telemark on the way, stopping off form lunch en route. Once we arrive in Oslo, you will have the rest of the day to acquaint yourself with Norways largest city. Dinner included.

Day 5: After breakfast we set off for a trip across the city, enjoying some superb panoramic views of the city before heading towards Frogner Park (also known as Vigaland Park) where we will visit the National Gallery, Royal Palace and the Akershus Castle. With the afternoon free we recommend visiting the Det Norske Folkemuseum (Museum of Norwegians) and the Museum of Viking Boats.

Day 6: After breakfast in the hotel we set upon our Fjord Route with a stop in Lom or Borgund where we will find the oldest Viking Churches in Norway. These churches were built around the year 1150. After lunch we continue our journey towards the fjords.

Day 7: After breakfast we begin our excursion towards the Nigards or Briksdal Glacier, two of the most impressive glaciers in the country. Next up is a boat trip along the legendary fjords of Norway. Getting off at Gudvangen we then travel towards Voss where you will have free time to explore the town. We recommend visiting the Flam Railway: an incredible train journey from the mountain station at Myrdal on the Bergen Railway, down to Flåm station nestled in the innermost corner of the Aurlandfjord. Dinner Included.

Day 8: Today we complete out tour by traveling back to Bergen, with free time to relax in the city before your flight back to your original destination (Madrid/Barcelona).
